Simplify EMM and IT Policy Enrollment at Scale with Samsung Knox Mobile Enrollment
Samsung Knox Mobile Enrollment simplifies EMM and IT policy enrollment workflows for both IT admins and mobile device users. IT admins can enroll thousands of enterprise-ready devices at once—each with fewer set-up steps for users to complete.
Enroll a Fleet of Mobile Devices in Fewer Steps
Knox Mobile Enrollment offers convenient, flexible enrollment options:
- Knox Deployment Program: Organizations can bulk purchase Samsung devices from resellers in the Knox Deployment Program (KDP). These trusted resellers then register the devices on behalf of business customers, preloading those devices to the Knox server. This enables IT admins to immediately begin configuring the devices for EMM and IT policy enrollment.
- Knox Deployment App for Android: IT admins can configure a primary device for enrollment. This initial configuration facilitates bulk enrollment of additional devices via NFC, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi Direct. The additional devices enroll without needing to be factory reset.
- QR Code Enrollment: IT admins can provision users with a QR code. Users scan the QR code to enroll their device. Optionally, QR code enrollment can automatically connect the device to the corporate Wi-Fi network.
- Knox Mobile Enrollment (KME) Direct for PC: IT admins can enroll devices over closed networks with the KME Direct Windows PC application.
Knox Mobile Enrollment officially supports Samsung mobile devices running the current major version of Android or the preceding four major versions. Samsung maintains a full list of supported devices online.
Reduce Effort, Gain Efficiency
With Knox Mobile Enrollment, IT admins can manually configure enrollment once and automatically enroll devices again and again, even after factory reset. Automated enrollment workflows also benefit device users:
- reducing manual set-up tasks, such as authenticating Wi-Fi and logging into EMM Work Profiles
- provisioning custom work environments
- restricting access to unnecessary pre-installed applications
By reducing slow, repetitive manual enrollment procedures, users can start working with their devices sooner, and all employees can focus on higher-value tasks.
Ensure Device Fleet Security
Knox Mobile Enrollment simplifies enrollment without compromising security. Knox Mobile Enrollment benefits from government-grade security features as part of the Samsung Knox Suite.
IT admins can enhance security by configuring certificates to automatically install before enrollment. Knox Mobile Enrollment also supports on-prem EMM agents, offering autonomous control over security and performance.
An optional, separate license enables Knox Dual Data-at-Rest (DualDAR) encryption. This provides two additional layers of encryption to EMM Work Profiles: SOC-level flash storage encryption and a Knox or third-party cryptographic module.
Integrate with Samsung Knox Suite
Knox Mobile Enrollment is bundled with Samsung Knox Suite, which offers subscription plans that cater to large enterprises and medium to small businesses. With Knox Suite, SSO grants unified access to a repository of shared devices and the broader range of Knox products for device management, customization, and security.
