You can type or paste text into notes to save for later.

You can type text into a new note from the Take a Note... bar near the top of Google Keep:

  1. To open a new note, click on the Take a Note... bar.
  2. To add text to the body of the note, type in the Take a Note... field.

To add a title to the note, type in the Title field.

  1. To save the note, click Close near the bottom-right corner of the note.

You can type text into an existing note:

  1. To open the note that you want to add text to, click on that note.
  2. To add text to the note
    • when the body of note is blank, type in the Note field.
    • Or
    • when the body of the note already contains text, type in or over that text.

To add a title to the note, type in the Title field.

  1. To save the note, click Close near the bottom-right corner of the note.

  1. To prepare, copy text from another source.
  2. To open a new note, click on the Take a Note... bar in Google Keep.
  3. To add text to the body of the note, paste that text in the Take a Note... field.
