This help system is a student project that I built at the British Columbia Institute of Technology:

  • I produced a functioning HTML5 help system for a real-world product.
  • I omitted some product features because this project required exactly 10 topic pages.
  • This project is in no way affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, nor authored by Google.

How to archive notes

You can archive notes that you want to keep but rarely refer to. Archiving notes helps you keep your notes uncluttered. You can view your archived notes at any time in the Archive.

When a labelled note is archived, you can also access that note through its label's page.

Archiving notes

Archive a note with the Archive Archive Button button near the bottom edge of that note:

  1. To access the Archive Archive Button button
    • when you want to open and archive an existing note, click on that note.
    • Or
    • when you want to archive an existing note without opening it, hover the Cursor over that note.
  2. To archive the note, click the Archive Archive Button button.

The archived note moves to the Archive. You can review, edit, and/or unarchive the note later:

  1. To open the Main menu, click on the Main Menu Menu Button button.
  2. To open the Archive, click on Archive near the bottom of the Main menu.
  3. To review or edit the note, click on that note in the Archive.
  4. If you want to unarchive the note, click the Unarchive Unarchive Button button near the bottom edge of the note.
  5. To save the note, click Close near the bottom-right corner of the note.
