This help system is a student project that I built at the British Columbia Institute of Technology:
- I produced a functioning HTML5 help system for a real-world product.
- I omitted some product features because this project required exactly 10 topic pages.
- This project is in no way affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, nor authored by Google.
How to change the colour of notes
You can change the background colour of notes to highlight, decorate, or visually categorize those notes. By default, notes appear white.
Changing the colour of notes
Change the colour of a note with the Change Colour button near the bottom of that note:
-
To access the Change Colour button
- when you want to open and colour a new note, click the Take a Note... bar near the top of Google Keep.
- Or
- when you want to open and colour an existing note, click on that note.
- Or
- when you want to colour an existing note without opening it, hover the Cursor over that note.
- To access the Colour palette, hover the Cursor over the Change Colour button.
- To change the colour of the note, click the swatch in the Colour palette that matches the colour you want the note to display as.
- If you opened a new or existing note in step 1, save that note by clicking Close near the bottom-right corner of the note.
