This help system is a student project that I built at the British Columbia Institute of Technology:

  • I produced a functioning HTML5 help system for a real-world product.
  • I omitted some product features because this project required exactly 10 topic pages.
  • This project is in no way affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, nor authored by Google.

How to share notes

You can share your notes with friends, family, and coworkers.

Anyone that you share a note with can edit that note.

  1. To access the Collaborator Collaborator Button button
    • when you want to open and share a new note, click on the Take a Note... bar near the top of Google Keep.
    • Or
    • when you want to open and share an existing note, click on that note.
    • Or
    • when you want to share an existing note without opening it, hover the Cursor over that note.
  2. To open the Collaborators dialogue box, click on the Collaborator Collaborator Button button.
  3. To search for someone to share the note with, begin typing that person's name or email address in the Person or Email to Share With field.

The Search Results drop-down menu appears as you type. The menu suggests people to share with based on what you type in the Person or Email to Share With field. These suggestions come from your Google Contacts.
